On The Move

The Gillis family has made it to Chicago. No small feat! A hectic morning, quarreling children, a crazy ride to the airport and tearful goodbyes. I really did not think it was going to be this emotional.

We survived our first plane ride (and dinosaur sighting!).

We are now waiting to board our plane to Germany. Then one more flight and we will be in Kiev. Many questions have yet to be answered:

Will our ears hurt on this flight?
Will we be closer to the stars when we are flying over the ocean at night?
What will they serve us for supper?!?
Peter is wondering when he will be able to say "deh toilette?" for the first time.
When will we be able to meet the little one we have come all this way to meet?
What will we have for supper? Didn't Lydia already ask that question?

We are grateful for the prayers that are following us on this journey. Please continue to keep us in your petitions.

Goodbye from Chicago. Ukraine, here we come!
